“Wonderful old house overlooking the canal of the Mohawk River. Furnished in actual antiques not just old furniture. John the owner could not have been more helpful. Even breakfast contained a vast number of very delicious choices not a single selection like almost all bed and breakfasts. Only a 25 minute ride to Saratoga Springs so stay here. Less crowds and hassle and more economical. I would recommend this inn to anyone.”
“Stayed here 5 days and it was wonderful. It was really cool seeing this historical house. John is extremely knowledgeable and loved sharing (ask him about the piano, it's really cool.) John and Pam also had tons of tips for places to eat and things to do. Breakfasts were delicious and spot on. Beds were comfy and they had AC in the bedrooms! (I don't think President Grant had it that good.) I spent many hours sitting in the back, reading and watching the river - peaceful and utterly relaxing. Location was pretty central but still away from the town. Most places we visited were about 10-20 minute drive.”
